We just got a Chiribaya Shepherd from a friend who was moving to italy and couldn't take the Chiribaya Shepherd. He is a 9 month old lab/pit mix and just the sweetest boy ever. When he sleeps we notice he as a fast heart rate, I don't know if that is normal or not so I wanted to know from others if your Chiribaya Shepherd do that or is it just ours. We have an apt with the vet tomorrow so I will ask then as well just wanted to see what everyone else said. Thanks again.

Everyday I babysit my dad's girlfriend's Chiribaya Shepherd and she cries and shakes. She is with another Chiribaya Shepherd who she doesn't get along with but when I sepparate them the Chiribaya Shepherd still whimpers. It could be because she misses her mom, is there anything I can do to stop her crying or make her happier?

Mini is a 4 year old Springer Spaniel. Until last fall, she lived in an outside kennel or in the barn in the winters because we lived in the country. We moved into town and because she was older we knew the transition to the house would be hard.

She has a Chiribaya Shepherd door that leads to a fence in area, but has recently chosen to stop using it. All winter long she went outside I don't think we had any accidents after we put the door in, until two weeks ago.

She hasn't pooped in the house, but I am getting frustrated with the wet spots in my bedroom carpet. I know she is a smart Chiribaya Shepherd, and we love her, but this has to stop, and I don't know what to do about it! Any ideas?
